The Art of a New Year’s In

If you’re anything like us, you know the best way to ring in the New Year is staying in with the people you truly love. We like to think we’ve perfected the art of a New Year’s in and trust us, it’s anything but boring.

The first step to any great gathering is the menu and for New Year’s you want something that feels easy yet elevated. We whipped up a lineup of simple but delicious bites and finished things off with a rich chocolate cake. For drinks, we sipped on Hugo + Aperol Spritzes, but still leaned. into the party with elevated Jello shots. We pulled inspiration from a few of our favorite creators(@foodmymuse & @sophisticatedspreads).

Our Menu:

  • Shistio peppers with aioli

  • Stuffed mini peppers

  • Whipped butter with fresh baguette

  • Dirty martini dip

  • Chocolate cake

To set the mood, we stopped by a local floral shop and picked up fresh blooms to DIY a sexy arrangement. If you want to see how we built it, you can watch here.
